I really like connecting with other’s in the photography industry. They are the ones that understand staying up until 2 am, they understand how excited you get when you see coordinating outfits that aren’t too matchy, but just enough. They get all the “photographer” jokes going ’round (for example, “You have a nice really nice camera, it takes great pictures!”).
Recently, I put a call out on facebook that I would be interested in second shooting a wedding if anyone needed a 2nd shooter and Jennifer commented :) We have more in common than just that…she bought my friend’s house and her husband works with another friend’s husband. It was cool to meet up, have coffee and chat non-stop for a couple of hours. We met as two photographers with something in common and left as friends :)
A few days later, we got together for some head-shots for Jennifer’s new website.
