I drive by this property at least once a day, and always think how beautiful it is.  Especially when there are nice white clouds, and pretty blue skies and the mountains in the background doing their “mountainess” thing.  What?  You don’t know what that means??  It means, they are solid and beautiful, strong and, well…I can’t really explain it, I just think they look awesome.

This farmer also flies planes, and we see them flying above our house on beautiful days like today.  

We live in a beautiful place and I feel lucky that our girls are in driving distance to a TON of major cities, the ocean, mountains, historical grounds and so much more!  At least once a week the girls will say, “Nonny and Grandpa live over that mountain!” (Pointing to the mountain in this picture) and yes, that’s true…they do live over that mountain and another and another :)  Some days, when the sky is pretty like today, every direction you turn you see mountains.

I guess you can say it makes me feel protected.
