This little man was super adorable! He slept for us and gave us some great awake shots as well. :) His parents were super comfortable with him, even when he decided he was absolutely done taking photos. I truly enjoyed photographing him and my favorite shot is the very last one! Soooooo cute!

Hellooooo seniors! Time to start thinking about your senior sessions and how you best want to document YOU for your senior year. Together, we can plan an awesome session that screams, “THIS IS ME!”. To make it even that much more awesome, a dear friend, who is an amazing makeup artist, has teamed up with me to provide you ladies with makeup for your sessions. I recommend her to anyone that asks and she’s done my makeup along with many others that I have photograhed. If you choose to have Sasha do your makeup, she’ll come with us on your session for touch-ups and hair help Pretty sweet right?!! It’s like your own personal stylist right there with ya!

I Heart Faces | Black & White Challenge {Summa’ time}

I really struggled with which picture I wanted to enter into this challenge. So many incredible photographers out there and black and whites are so personal…in my opinion. I love the raw emotion that comes through with a beautiful black and white that a lot of times, color can mask.

I decided on this photo for a couple of reasons. Number one being: I WISH IT WERE SUMMER! This past summer was THE summer when our girls played at the beach without eating sand, or getting sand in their eyes or needing us to stand beside them for their every move. Number 2: our youngest is just so chill. She played on the beach, people watched (which she is doing here) and mostly got her feet wet. She just enjoyed the water and the atmosphere, and it totally fits her laid back personality. Number 3: not to mention summer again, but really our house is looking forward to more long weekends at the beach this summer

With that being said, here is my submission for the March 2012 Beautiful Black and White challenge Enjoy and thanks for taking a peek!

Seriously, how did 6 months fly by already? I love that I get to see little man every 3 months, but man it makes me sad! Just know that it indeed goes by as fast as I think it does. Makes me miss my wee ones when they were that age. I remember thinking, “Oh, I wish she could crawl. Oh, I wish she could stand…then walk” Now I just wish my oldest didn’t lose her first tooth today!

Little W is so full of personality and chunks! What else could you ask for in a baby…adorable smiles and chunky thighs!! Check him out, I’m sure by the time 9 months rolls around he’ll be moving and groovin!! I definitely enjoyed him just chillin’ for us

I really like connecting with other’s in the photography industry. They are the ones that understand staying up until 2 am, they understand how excited you get when you see coordinating outfits that aren’t too matchy, but just enough. They get all the “photographer” jokes going ’round (for example, “You have a nice really nice camera, it takes great pictures!”).

Recently, I put a call out on facebook that I would be interested in second shooting a wedding if anyone needed a 2nd shooter and Jennifer commented We have more in common than just that…she bought my friend’s house and her husband works with another friend’s husband. It was cool to meet up, have coffee and chat non-stop for a couple of hours. We met as two photographers with something in common and left as friends

A few days later, we got together for some head-shots for Jennifer’s new website. If you are interested in a wedding photographer, she has beautiful work, AND if you think you may want a second shooter I could put in a good word for someone I know You can view her website here, and she’ll be debuting her new website soon!

Camp Hill Photographer | {Senior Photography} Rain Rain…

I cannot believe I haven’t blogged these photos yet! Shame on me and I’m sorry Sara, but here they are in all their beautiful glory!

When the day arrived for Sara and her mom to come visit me, I was ticked when I looked outside and saw rain REALLY??! Well, I turned my frown upside down, bought a new polka-dotted umbrella and embraced the rain for it’s awesomeness and boy did Sara BRING IT. Amazing session filled with me doing a lot of this, “SHUT UP!” “OH COME ON!” “SEERRIOUSSSLYYY” I’m pretty sure Sara thought I was a loon…can’t help it, it just comes outta me

Seriously, these are probably the CUTEST kiddos ever (ok, they come in a close second to mine, but still pretty cute) and man, PERSONALITY to boot! Little man was hard to keep up with, and it took him a bit to warm up, but once his aunt started doing hi-kicks in the background, it was all over! He melted like butta The girls were super adorable and totally photogenic. Tiny one’s eyes melted me and Big girl was picture ready whenever I asked!

Thank you so much for asking me to come hang out with you all for a bit. It’s awesome that your whole family was able to celebrate the holidays together…treasure those memories Enjoy your photos! ~xo

This little lady is sooooo sweet!! Incredibly loved, totally stylish and teeny tiny! I could have held her all day! We had a great time hanging out, switching hats and bows and tutus and capturing natural shots. I can’t wait to watch her grow up! Congrats Tim & “Aunt Jenn”, little Rachel is PERFECTION!

This was by far one of the most fun families I photographed this past fall. The light was dreamy, the kids were ADORABLE and the parents…ugh, mushy with love!! This photo fits this category to a “T”, Miss Lo is so animated and was putting on a show for sure. :)
